I love essential oils and I often recommend them to my friends and family.  I usually recommend a specific treatment for a specific problem like our Car Sick Roller that we love for to help kids who get car sick on road trips.  But when my friends and family see how well they work, they want to use more essential oils.  Unfortunately, starting to use essential oils can feel overwhelming.  Everyone’s needs are different but if you are just starting to use Essential Oils, these 6 Essential Oils are great to start with.

  10. Thanks for sharing this.! The links you shared are super affordable! I have only tried two essential oils lemongrass and orange. I have generalized anxiety disorder and they really helped me relax when panic hits. I don’t like taking medication on a regular basis but the oils with combination of breathing really helps.

This is a great initial snapshot of essential oil usage. I would love to know why you chose the brand you did. I really love Doterra but would love to hear about this brand as well.

    1. I have used Doterra and I respect that brand as well. In fact, there are a couple of blends like Digestazen that I can’t find an equal for. My issue was that there were several oils that I thought would help my family but they were so expensive I just couldn’t justify buying them. I found Eden’s Gardens and they are very well respected and they do a good job of controlling the quality and purity of their oils. I have used them along side the same oils from Doterra and Young Living and the scent, quality, and effectiveness is the same but Eden’s Garden cost about 1/2 to 1/10 of the price of Doterra. That means I feel good about getting all of the oils that benefit my family and letting my kids use them whenever they need them.
